Minature Kingda Ka? ("Stealth")

I saw this on a Thorpe park site. The ride looks like it will be a small version of Kingda Ka, with a Top Thrill Dragster theme. Look at the "Stand 13", the roof line is the same as the station, and the general idea of the stand is the same as Top Thrill Dragster. This coasters looks great, to bad I won't be in England anytime soon. What are your thoughts on this coaster?

Its Kingda Ka, but smaller. I am sure it will be fun, but obviously nothing unique.

^ Does it come complete with the rumbling sound effect and surprise stop at the end of the launch? That would really top off the experience.

It'll be ok... for Europe... but look like Xcelerator has a little more oomph on it with the two overbanked turns vs. a single air-time hill.

It's a toss up of which would be better, but I think those two would be the closest comparisons because of height & speed. I think I'll take Xcelerator since ride length would be a little longer & overbanked turns make it feel like a mini Mill Force.

I am disapointed though. Because for such varity they could do, they have somthing simple. And the it looks like the Ride Op Booth, looks the same as the TTD Exit (or back station) Ride Op Booth. I wonder if it will have OTSR, or Lap Bars.

To bad its not themed after the movie thats coming out this month! lol jk.

Actually, 'Stealth' was the name on some Kingda Ka stuff as well. Or was it TTD? I don't remember, but I did see a pic with 'Stealth' on a rocket pkg.

This thing has Xcel's tophat, TTD's theme, and Ka's bunnyhop. More than likely it'll have Stormrunner's OTSRs as well.

It has been on the Thrope sites for a while.

The name on the Dragster stuff was.. um.. Dragster, actually.

Then maybe it was Ka. I know it was some U.S. rocket, someone had a snapshot of the shipping label with 'Stealth' on it.

Or was it Storm Runner?

'Minature'- thats a bit harsh. Its 200 feet tall. Thats very big for the UK. Second tallest after the Big one.

I have to say i am a wee bit dissapointed with Stealth (thats not the name, just the codeword). I like the top hat and air time hill, but i would have liked a bit more after that. A couple of overbanked turns like RITA at Alton towers would be great. Hell, there is a lot of excess speed that could be burned off somewhere other than the by the brakes.

if it is to be themed like dragster, then why not call it a miniature Dragster, rather than a miniature Ka?

So, is it going to have the 90 degree vertical spiral and then the 270 degree vertical spriral like KK and TTD. Or is it going to have just two 90 degree vertical spirals like on Xcelerator?

Unless of course this one works. Then it will be unique.

And some people thought that Intamin was going to have a hard time selling rocket coasters. I know some have said that they are disappointed because it's not longer and no overbanked turns, but maybe this is all they can afford right now.

According to those plans, it will have 2 90 degree twists like xcelerator.

Personally I think this has to be the least exciting rocket coaster yet. The length of TTD and Kingda is overshadowed by the fact that they are complete mind****ers, but making the same short layout WITHOUT the insane height and speed is just going to leave guests saying "that's it?"
