Millennium Monument will have a Space Shot

A full report on this construction can be found on http://www.millenniummonument.com. This tower, apparently is going to be huge. They are developing an area around the Ohio River and the total project cost is over $1 billion. They are going to create shops, restraunts, and entertainment. Here is a little snipit from the official site:

"Targeted for the teenage audience, the Millennium Adventure will showcase cutting-edge technologies including the latest in action-packed virtual reality adventures and other state-of-the-art games and rides. Thematically linked to the Millennium Experience, the centerpiece of the Millennium Adventure will be a 'Space Shot' thrill ride located within the core of the tower structure. The thrill-seeking visitors who take this ride will be ushered by guides wearing astronaut uniforms into a Cape Canaveral-like launch pad. Then, they will be propelled up the core of the Tower at the awesome speed of 45 miles per hour. For young children, a mini 'Space Shot' will afford them the same gravitational experience on a smaller scale."

This sounds very cool! (also, it is in ohio :))
