Millennium Force when it opened?

I guess I was pretty lucky. I waited an hour an fifteen minutes on a weekday in May. I think that during other parts of the day, the like was longer.

I had the same experience at roughly the same time. I went on a weekday the week before Memorial Day and the longest I waited was about an hour and a half. I rode 3 times at various times during the day (once in the morning, once early afternoon, once in the early evening).

Happy Coastering!

I hate when the line exceeds the que because I always feel that it is very easy to get cut.
6 hours, that sucks. I just got back today and I rode MF 3 times, waited 45 mins twice and 20 with Fastlane.

Magnum and MForce are both longer waits than WT this year :) It's pretty cool because you can ride CP's new ride WT over and over and over. Just last week I logged 50 rides on it!! Next to no wait...farthest it got was just under the rear twist. And yesterday was a walk on ALL day...headed up there right now too :) BIG difference from MForce! Both great rides though. C-ya around at Cedar Point!!!

Jeff, can you write some sort of script that will automatically put in a negative post from HurricaneGeauga anytime CP is mentioned, and a positive post anytime SFWoA is mentioned? It would probably save him a lot of time.

Thats not anti-CP, im just saying that i didnt enjoy waiting long for MF, and could've got 15 rides on another CP ride. It's not like i said, "I hate MF, i couldve got x rides on [insert SFWoA ride]. I can't see anyone who would want to wait more than 1.5 hours for a coaster, and don't think any ride is worth waiting more than 90 minutes.

Fanboy

opening season on the weekend they would not let us queue, we waited from where the water rides were to get a "ticket" to come back and ride at a later time, the wait when you came back at the later time was about 3 hours, the full queue, i thought it was a good system to keep lines from getting to be in exess of 5hrs
I rode it in July 2000 and I only waited 1 1/2 hours both times I rode it a single day!

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't bleed to death from all the ear bleeding the ride causes you.

When I went in 2002 the line at 9:35 (park guests let in at 9:30) was back up all the way to Thunder Rapids. If I remember correctly, all of the queues were filled in. It was one of my most memorable MF moments though, just because its weird walking through a line all the way through the park.

Yea, to bad you can't get into the park until 10 unless your staying at a resort.

As stated in the very factial post WAYyyy back in the season Jeff, I also said that I gave it another try after leaning how to "ride WT" and enjoyed it. Much like one had to learn how to ride Steel Phantom. So yes it can be enjoyed, like all CP's coaster. Just because one coaster crave enthusiast and mech. eng. makes a comment about a coaster on how to improve it doesn't mean they will turn down a perfect time to ride it over and over and... ;)

I'm sorry but, I find it hard to believe you experienced head banging and bloody ears on WT.

There's nothing to be sorry about. My fiance saw it, my two cousins, and the CP First aid saw it. I wasn't going to die, I didn't die. it happened it the back seat during one the back spikes. A lot of people don't have a problem with it. Some get beat up on Villain, I don't. EVERYONE is different. As stated in earlier posts from way back when. I have strange ears that can even bleed when going up in a jet. I have a pilots license and still fly. Just for some strange reason something on WT caused it.I don't hate the ride or CP because of it. I just had to learn how to lean a little on it. I moved on with my life and ride them still.

I guess you must have been the *a lot* of people Hurricane Gueaga was talking about.
