Millennium Force stuck at close

As of the season pass ride night this past Friday, everything seemed to be back to normal in regards to the blocking situation. It still sped up at the top of the hill like it usually does when running 3 trains.

From this video, it looks like Millie is getting a new fresh batch of blue paint.

Ask not what you can do for a coaster, but what a coaster can do for you.

The painting began more than a year ago.

I rode it yesterday and everything was normal. The train sped up at the top as it usually does. I thought they completely finished the painting but I noticed one of the hills over the Frontier Trail wasn't painted.

Cedar Point will always be The Roller Coaster Capital of the World, regardless of the number of coasters they have.

Is it still being painted?? If so, thats a long time to paint the track.

I assume they finished before the season started, but yeah, it's a long track. :) Apparently they also had to ration the use of their cherry pickers and what not, as they were also painting Blue Streak and needed them for a bunch of projects around the park.

I believe it's the 3rd hill (the one going to the island) that is still unpainted. As far as I can tell, they did everything else.

I rode Saturday and Sunday. It had the normal accelleration up the lift hill when the forward train entered the next blocks. As far as my rides were concerned, the ride operated as it always has.
