Millennium Force repairs

Apperintly the Force was down today with repairs being done to the lift, most likely the cable. Does anybody have any news?

It was down while I was at CP om 9/19 to, a sign at the gate said Millennium force is down today, or something like that, kinda wierd since they had all week to work on it, kind of a bummer on 9/19 since TTD didnt really open for to long due to roll backs from the high wind. The only thing worth riding was Magnum, and it was flying, its been running better and better every week. Raptors line was not moving and Mantis is a headache,

They just replaced the cable on Millennium Force's lift. That's all. I'm sure they don't want a repeat of what happened in 2001.

You wouldn't think it would take a whole week just to replace the cable, but I guess it's possible.

MF was up and running as of at least 6pm Sat. Sept. 20th and it ran all night full Force. So yes it is back open now.

The Force was down the entire night on the first Halloweekends Friday with maintenance men working on the lift.

I went back to the Point yesterday and the Force reopened about 1:30 PM and ran great the entire day. I was able to get the third train out/first yellow train of the day.
