Millennium Force in Playboy

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Where else can you find naked twins, a gorgeous girl-next-door centerfold, great examples of journalism (I subscribe for the articles) and the world's tallest roller coaster? The May issue of Playboy has got you covered. Two pages from the back, below the photo of the woman in a chrome bikini, you'll find a copy of the artist's rendering and a clever description that uses words like "airtime," "gut-wrenching" and "squirrels." A must for any collector!

I DID NOT READ PLAYBOY ! SOMEONE SAID IN A COASTER FORUM THAT MILLENIUM FORCE WAS IN THE NEWS SECTION OF PLAYBOY AND THAT'S HOW I KNOW ABOUT IT! THATS WHY I WAS MAD ABOUT MF BEING IN IT AND THEN I THOGHT ABOUT THE MEDIA PART OF IT AND HOW THEY SEND OUT PICTURE'S AND STUFF TO THE MEDIA AND THATS HOW PLAYBOY GOT THE MF PICTURE AND THEN THEY JUST PUT THIER NUDE PICTURE ON THAT.

Ugh... you're done here buddy. You're clearly here to troll about and pass moral judgement on people you don't know, since you've made no contribution to the normal forums or even made track record entries. This isn't the place to talk about this stuff. If you want to play morality cop, do it elsewhere, because I've had enough of it here.

Hey Jeff, I know this isnt coaster related but they are planning on having a street in Chicago named after old Hugh Hefner himself. Of course it is getting contraversy by some politicians but they will still go ahead with the honor. Who knows, maybe Hef himself will ride Millenium Force since it was in Playboy.
Man this conversations been through everything huh? hehe :) I for one am more stuck on MF than magazines. What coasternut in their right minds wouldn't be!? :Þ... Just imagine, a 45 degree lift hill takes you up 310 feet.... You look around in awe by the scenic view and you lose any an all conscious thought of being on a giga-coaster.... Then you come back to reality just as your cresting the lift hill... You take a deep breath and plummit 300 feet at 80 degrees! YEOW! Accelerated over 90 mph! (although the first test only yielded a top speed of 88, but it's getting faster each trip!) The thought gives me goosebumps. Lets all enjoy the thought, until we ourselves can experience the unimaginable...... tick tick tick tick..... AHHH!!!!!

The point is Millennium Force is in PLAYBOY. I don't read it!!! Most of us agree that nude women shouldn't be posing in front of something a gorgeous as that roller coaster. Let's just leave it at that!!!

peace Out!!
Magazines in general have Ads to make more money! They have other businesses give them ads and they get paid for the advertisement. The MF ad was most likely NOT in front of a nude woman.. ads are placed away from the 'articles'. Never beside them. Playboy is a magazine. So is The National Inquierer, Sports Illistrated. There are little differences between the ads. The only difference is the materials for people to read or look at. :)
