I'm just finding that a bit cheap of Cedar Point, as I thought it was an unlimited pass or something. But I now read it's only good once... I'm wishing it would have been a greater amount. It'd only be fair to the MM goers for the inconvience of MF being down! And no, I cannot go on a different day (MM day). Tomorrow is the only day I can go, but I do appreciate the free VertioGO rides. :)

This goes to just prove that there are some folks out there that want, want, want and gimme, gimme gimme!
What is it that you do want Cedar Point to do for you, then?
I commend Cedar Point for going as far as they did for offering alternatives to the uncontrolable mishap that dampend Millennium Mania! I'd travel the 200 miles for a free ride on Vertigo! any day. What in the hell is so cheap about that??? There are 6 other fantastic rides that are being offered for this occasion! Either go enjoy them, or just go in the corner and pout!
That'll be one less person in line for me.

Looks like I'll just have to deal with rides on my favorite coaster, Magnum. Sigh... :)

1) Vertigo is open for free, not bad. 2) You are getting a boarding pass good for one use, O.K. 3) Blue Streak is open, Ho-Hum.
That isn't that bad, ya maybe they could have given 5 boarding passes good during different months during 2002, because you do get to ride the MF alot during MM.
What I find that is great is if you don't like the package now, Cedar Point will refund your money! I would like to see SFWoa do something like that, they can't because all there rides break down.
Cedar Point takes great pride on operating all their rides and believe you me, Dick Kinzle isn't a happy camper when a ride is down. That is why you see near 100% operational rides throughout the season, that is from open to close during the regular season. I wonder what SFwoa operational rides are 70%???, enough said.
I am going next week to MM with our without MF.

Thats weird, cause the days that I went to CP the line for it has been packed (Yes, the only days I can go are on the weekends)
Geez, what more do you want man, a FREE pass or something. I guess some people are ungrateful

$hit happens... keep in mind like others mentioned, your lucky MF hasn't closed down many other times for any reasons, just think about all the other rides people miss out on at other parks on a seasonal basis (1 group from England missed out on S:ros@SFDL they traveled all that way and they couldn't get a ride...)
It happens, and there isn't much you can do about it. Be glad you are getting what they are giving....

And to answer your question a I think a 5 time exit pass for MF would have been fair(instead of free vertigo rides, NO i don't expect CP to give away the store) Still not as many as would've been possible at MM but a decent compromise.
Did those peeps form england travel to attend a special pay event called Superman Mania?
BTW, what exactly should I be grateful for?
