Millennium Force and safety featured in Baltimore Sun

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

With the flurry of safety concens from one Congressman looking to protect us from a threat that doesn't exist, the Baltimore Sun published an article yesterday with quotes from Dan Haverlock (they got his name wrong) and Jeff Putz.

Get the story at The Sun's Sun Spot site.

here's a funny part of the article that shows that the writer is a bit confused about the term "noninverted banked turn":

"And it has the steepest noninversion banked turn on a roller coaster -- 122 degrees. (On an inverted coaster, the vehicle hangs below the track with passengers' legs dangling as if on a ski lift)"

I noticed that too. It's just another example of the media having not enough news, and too much of their heads up where the sun don't shine.

Gotta ride 'em all!
Haverlock calls Markey's bill "a waste."

"I think the government is sticking its nose into a business that doesn't need to be regulated."

LOL Good Stuff!!
