Millennium Force: Possible to enjoy?

Is there anything i can do to make it more exciting. I will be going to the point opening weekend. After the first drop it is pretty boring. In the past i have tried counting sheep, turning my head around, etc. But in the end i am just wasting my time. Is there any tricks to make a boring ride more exciting?
Sure. Ride Magnum instead.

Ah...our beloved Beat Tamer. It is so painfully obvious that you're mad that everyone is pissing on SOB so now you try to turn the tables by dissing a ride that is actually smooth, fast, fun, and infinitely rerideable.

Nice try, BT!

Looks like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed.
Well, (and I say this as a dyed-in-the-wool CP season-pass-holding fanboy), he does have a point. After the first drop, the rest of it is mostly, well, fast.

Of course, after Dragster's first drop, the rest of it is mostly, well, over, so MF has *something* going for it.

Actually...

Some people think MF has no air or whatever, but that is only sometimes true. In mid-summer when it gets super hot, MF goes faster and is an excellent ride. If you ride first thing in the morning in May, it is a completely different ride. A July night ride after it has been warming up all day in the front seat...well let's just say it blows away both Beast and his little brat.

Edit: I forgot to add that MF on a bad day still has more air than Beast and SoB combined. :) *** Edited 4/12/2005 11:50:45 PM UTC by RavenTTD***

It's funny you should say that. I was underwhelmed by the two rides I've taken on MF. Guess when I took them? Yep, on an early May morning. I'll be back for more in late June this time though. I'm looking forward to that front row ride.;)

Yeah, that is where the fanboys have the advantage. ;) We ride all summer so we get the good rides, but coaster enthusiasts just come when the crowds are light and get the ho-hum rides. On a fast ride there is good floating air on the large hill to the island, and strong floater/ejector air on the return hill and bunny hop, not to mention the rear seat air down the first hill. You still would like a bit more, but it is a great ride.
Garbage topics: Possible to enjoy?
So far, I'd have to give that a qualified yes.

Meh. Only cuz we make it so!

BT's lucky I don't get started on that chili...who'd sell that stuff and then have people stand in slow-moving queues? I mean REALLY.

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

At least no one has started a thread titled "MTR - possible to enjoy?" ;)

Did someone say 'hijack'?

To those taking this thread as a serious attempt at conversation...stop it.
ummm, excuse me, but this is a trolling topic so the real hijackers are the ones who are on topic. The rest of you are just feeding the troll.

Hey you found a way to enjoy SoB! ;)

Toilet: The Ride (even at a violater of "The Ride" park!)

Yea, there's an easy way to enjoy it - stay at PKI so my wait is 45 seconds less ...

Must someone *me* point out another uselses topic, if your tired of the ride, stop riding! Its not rocket science here. Either that or just don't go! Anyways isn't there a rule against trolling on CB?

Millennium Force is the my favorite coasters. You seem to like really rough coasters. The Force isn't rough.

What's great about it is it's amazing first drop, but also going from freefall to 4.5 g's around the first turnaround in just a few seconds.

Sit in the back seat, and it is a blast being whipped around each overbanked turn. I've noticed that the overbanks on MF are MUCH better than the 1 on S:ROS at NE.

I like S:ROS, for it's size it's perfect but it doesn't have that great of a drop and it's not fast enough for me. Sure, the airtime is good, but I prefer the speed and floater are time on Millennium Force.

I rode Millennium Force at night last year in the back seat. The ride was incredible, I was getting so much airtime, the g's were great, and as soon as we got past the bunny hop the fireworks from the laser show went off.

I don't think coasters can get much better than a bigger Millennium Force.

If that doesn't thrill you, and you like it rough, I'm sure that the WWF would love to have you. Or just jump out of a plane. The parachute would probably take away the thrill though so we not just forget that piece of equipment?

PS Have you ever sat in the backseat on the Force or any Hyper and looked backwards. Just do it. You'll like it.

Wow, BT has gone from coastercrazed, SoB loving, enthusiast to a spiteful troll in 28 days. Is there anymore people we can make this vindictive in the upcoming summer?

I'm sorry that feeding trolls is not warranted, but this person really needs us...
