Millenium Force overrated?

am i the only one who thinks that MF is overrated. It seems to me that CP just wanted to make MF the tallest coaster. They didnt seem to care if it was a quality coaster

Wrong place to post this, buddy. I won't even say a word. Seeing as how you have ridden X I am sure you know the low-down on all coasters in the world.

MF is so not overrated. Just ride in the front seat, and you'll see why it is the #2 coaster in the world. BTW, Magnum is #1...LoL.

I agree, as do about many many other people, that the first drop is the only good part, it has no airtime except the first hill, and you can't hold on to experience it. S:ROS is IMO better, because it has airtime.

If every coaster had airtime then they would pretty much all be alike to me i can live without air time ( mf has a ton of it going over all the hills at a high rate of speed ) it was built for speed and that is what it is i have been wanting them to build something like this for many many years if you think it is overrated please step aside so i can get in line and ride it one less person to wait behind this is probably the type of person that is sittin on the bench watching the train climb the hill saying to himself "Gee thats awfully high" while sucking his thumb ;)

I think people should chill out a bit and maybe realize that there is not now nor will there ever be a best coaster in the world. There is a best coaster for you, the individual, that thrills you to the max. Just be thankful for that. But no one coaster will ever satisfy everyone to the limit. In this world there simply is no best of anything, just differences within like entities. It is nice that we can have these discussions (arguments!) sparked by our common interest in coasters. Consider the alternatives (see Rep Markey subject, ad nauseum, who hails from, I hate to say it, my home state).

(IMO)Millennium Force is overrated. Not as overrated as some coasters, but that doesn't make it a bad coaster. It just means you dont think it deserves all the praise it gets. Yeah it deserves a lot, because it's even one of my top 5 and something I would love to ride everyday if I could. But since it's at you know where, it makes it become more overrated than it should be. If MF was at SFNE and SROS was at CP. You better believe their praise would be a complete switch around. But personally, I do like SROS better. I was amazed because I had never heard a word about the thing. That coaster makes me happy. :)
