Millenium Force Hard Points (for trims?)

While standing in line for MF, I noticed that after the turn near the queue and before the final overbank, there're a couple of cross bars stuck into the latice work of the track. A similar structure exists before the second tunnel.

Anyone have pictures or know what they are? My guess has hard points for trims. Are they elsewhere on the coaster or on other Intamins?

You can kinda see them in this picture. If you look at the very top of the third (from front) small support (of the four) you can make out (very fuzzily) the two crossbars.
