Millenium Force going 102mph not 92!!!
A friend of mine is a Mechanic at CP. This is his stroy: Last Week the Millenium Force was struck by lightning, but the lightning rods weren't properly grounded. This caused the MF to get really messed up. In the process of repairing the coaster, the engineers found some interesting flaws. (1) The MF was acctually traveling 10mph faster than it was supposed to go, and has been since it's opening, (2) The braking system on the MF was only working at 75% compacity.
CP is extremely lucky to have no accidents during the past few months.
That was the story as I heard it from my friend, believe it, or not.
