It seems that the who want to be a millionare attraction will be replaced by "Midway madness", a dark ride/ shooter type ride themed to toy story. It will be along the lines of buzz lightyear.
The attraction will be installed at MGM studios and california adventure.
Here is some info(not official diney info).

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
FYI - Bob Iger this week approved a multi-hundred million dollar makeover of DCA....they say in 5 years we won't recognize the place...it will be rethemed, re-worked, and renamed....sounds VERY interesting!

As for Midway Madness, all we know right now is that Millionaire is closing, that's it. No word on theme or whatever, but think, TWO Buzz Lightyear shooting dark rides? Uh, no.
As someone said, I wouldn't trust Jim Hill, he's a fool, typically. I like in the article where he makes fun of himself. Where they rather please the paying customers over the annual passholders or Disney dweebs. Ouch, hurting himself on his own website.
Now, if they would do something with "Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey" then we'd be set!

A.) The ride will be centered around Pixar characters in general, not just Buzz/Toy Story.
B.) The two current Buzz rides are at Disneyland and The Magic Kingdom but the Midway Mania rides will be in DCA and Disney/MGM. MM might be a similar ride type to Buzz but the two won't be in the same park.
For those interested in the ride, here is an article from MiceAge that describes it, and it includes a link to a patent Disney applied for in regards to the technology that is supposed to be used. Sounds pretty nifty to me.
