Michigan's adventure will make an announcement soon.

When you leave at around 8am and stay until 8-10pm, it's not that bad of a day trip IMO, unless like Josh said, you run into a murder scene/police barricade/manhunt on I-84. ;) Sure I'd rather stay the night, but that's more expense on top of an otherwise inexpensive day trip, assuming you don't drive a gas guzzler and you split the cost between at least two people and you get two for one park admission or you both have a season pass. ;)

My point is New York City is an EASY EASY EASY day trip. Central Iowans drive down to Worlds of Fun and back all the time and that's about three hours just from Des Moines and Adventureland is right there.

Kind of waiting for them to make an announcement that they're getting a B&M Inverted and a B&M stand-up.

Both relocated from California's Great America of course. ;)

Trust me, you don't want that stand-up coaster.
