Michigan's Adventure w/ Non-coaster Loving Family

I have a question...I'm considering going to MiA with my non-coaster loving family. To give you a gauge of what they will ride, they will go on nothing that goes upside down, and nothing higher than the Viper at Six Flags Great America. I'm wondering whether or not it's a worthwhile trip to go with them. Are there any good family coasters? Or any flat rides that are decent?

Welcome to Six Flags Great America, home of the fastlane and delay-ja vu! We have now officially been deemed the world-wide wait!
If they like water parks then yes, it is worth it for them to go. MI's waterpark is awesome and worth the price of admission itself!

The Mad Mouse is a coaster that they would probably like. They might be up for Woverine Wildcat, a smaller wooden coaster with lack of airtime. They could also do the two 'kiddie" coasters: Dipper & Zach's Zoomer. There is the usual flat rides such as scrambler, swings, swinging ship, and ferris wheel.
I don't know what the height limit is (how tall is Viper?)...

But Wolverine Wildcat is around 80 feet, Zach's Zoomer and Mad Mouse are around 40 feet. Sounds like the Corkscrew (Save the Station!!) is out. I suggest that you drag them onto Shivering Timbers because it's actually a more approachable ride than the Wolverine Wildcat.

Either that, or dump them in the waterpark while you go ride coasters. :)

Yes, I am sure your family will be fine with all of the flat rides and waterpark as stated above. If you wish to look at all the rides they have go to http://www.miadventure.com/frame.htm and click on the ride info button. Schedule, prices, and other useful things can be found there also. Enjoy your trip...and if you see 2 girls on Shivering Timbers all day, that would be myself and ThrillSeeker, so say hi.

Viper is 100 ft. high with a 90 ft. drop I believe. I love the flat rides at MA, eventhough most of them are carnival type flat rides, they rock, mostly because of the duration they allow you to ride on them. I would suggest going in some back way so they don't have to see the Timbers, it would intimidate them! ST is only 25 ft. taller than Viper, and you could lie to them to get them to ride! :) It is a great ride nonetheless.
