There comes a point where an unwillingness to learn is classified as willful ignorance.

So much for "Not a complaint."
I was going to say the exact same thing. LOL

Another example of building is The Wisconsin dells. A lot of the parks there are probably doing very well, yet there always seems to be something new going on there as well. because the owners of those parks dare to take risks. The lack of enthusiasm on a profitable park just does not make sense to me.
Hate to break it to you, but none of the Dells parks have added anything since 2005. Mount Olympus did a reprofile of Hades four years ago to make it Hades 360. Other than that nothing major has been added to any of the parks there. Also, as has been stated, Michigan's Adventure is a regional park. The Dells are regional, too, but a lot bigger region as they advertise into Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, hell, maybe even the Dakotas. I live a short ferry ride across the big lake from Muskegon and have never seen any advertising for Michigan's Adventure in the Milwaukee market.
Just face it. Your park sucks. It will always suck. Either get over it or move somewhere with a more agreeable park to your tastes.
Certain victory.
Man, I wish Lakemont Park would add something new. It's been since around 2004 since they added their Tin Lizzies Antique car ride. The guy who runs the park told me fifteen years ago that he wanted to add a large Ferris wheel. Meanwhile, just down the road, DelGrosso's is expanding their waterpark with a wave pool and a lazy river. It's just not fair. :p

I wish Lakemont had kept their Herschell Mad Mouse. That alone would make the trip worth it. Well, not to mention Leap the Dips.
Hey, on the positive* side, they still have their Toboggan.
*replace with "negative" if you don't like Toboggans.
I saw a michigan's adventure commercial when I was in Toronto, and I also saw one when I was in nashville TN. I have also seen them while staying in Chicago, and cleveland ohio.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
Did you bring it with you on VHS?
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

I never got that ride...saw it a couple times when it was down - then it was gone. Big fan of the Herschell rides (except Knoebels' Looper - ugh), and have gotten several of the mice of different types...along with an embarrassing array of the kiddie coasters....and some beautiful carousels.
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
I've lived in Cleveland for almost 17 years now (wow... I just got a sudden urge to put a gun to my face) and I've never ever seen a Michigan's Adventure commercial, or any form of advertising media at all.
Nor have I seen ads for Waldameer, which surprises me, as they've added great attractions over the years.
Seen billboards for Kennywood though.
I've lived in Chicago for nigh on twenty years and I have not ever once seen on TV or heard on the radio a commercial for Michigan's Adventure. And I pretty much have either TV or radio on whenever I'm awake.
And that MiA would be buying ad time in Tennessee is, well, sorry, but it's absurd.

Chicago would actually make more sense. Advertise Michigans Adventure to all the FIPs driving up as an add-on to their Traverse City / Dunes getaway.
I see advertisements for Camden Park here in Altoona, PA all the time. ;)

Seriously, this guy's rant has not changed in 15 years. What has happened to Coaster buzz? Do you like pancakes?

I like gravy and arguing about why the left seat in the third row of the fifth car is terrible.
