Michigan's Adventure Discounts?

Jason Hammond's avatar
My family (About 15 of us) will be on vacation in South Haven in July. I have convinced some of them to take a day to go to Michigan's Adventure. I have my Season Pass, but I was wondering if there is anywhere I can find discounts off of general admission for every one else?

15 might qualify you for a group rate.

Admission is fairly reasonable at that park--$24. Looks like you have to have 25 or more for a group rate of $20 pp. You should be able to find some coupons at a local grocery store.

Group Rates begin at 25 people. Plus, I wasn't able to convince Everyone to go.

I know enought to look at grocery stores and tourist information centers when I get there. But, I was looking for some more solid info. Perhaps someone who has gotten some in the past or someone who lives in the area. As we will be about 1-1/2 hours away from the park, I'd like to know for sure before I get there so I'm not running from place to place looking. Thanks :)

My suggestion would be to email your question about discounts to info@michigansadventure.com or call 231-766-9959 and request info on discouts :).

That's a good idea. I sent them an e-mail. I'll post their response for anyone else who might be interested.

The recent Mountain Dew cans in SW MI have a $3 discount on them. Likewise, Meijers usually has some sort of discount, although I haven't confirmed it this year yet.
CP's Getaway Guide has two coupons for MiA and GL. They're both good for four people.

Gomez beat me to it about the getaway guide, but I doubt anywhere you go you're going to do better than $3 - $4 off since admission is only $24.00 to start with. Best to you though, please tell if you find something good.

Ahh my home town. Make sure to eat at the Vineyard. It's by far the best food in town.

As for MIA, Kara probably has the best knowledge and advice around... Call/E-mail the park.

Where is the vineyard located? Do you know the address or nearest intersection?

Ok, after searching on eBay, I now know for sure that coupons for "$3 Off Admission" exist. I'm going to hold off on buying them there in hopes that I can find my own.

The only discount is if they pay you to go to this waistland/1!
The Vineyard Italian Restaurant is on Broadway, N of Phoenix, the main street of South Haven. Excellent food.

Another popular place to eat is Clementine's, on Phoenix in the downtown, but they don't hold a candle to the Vineyard.

Michigan's Adventure e-mailed me and said that Meijers and AAA sell tickets at a small discount, and that there is a $3 off admission for up to 4 people in the Getaway Guide.

I found a local listing for Meijers, called them, and they said the tickets are $22.50 ($1.50 off)

I'll have to check at home, but I believe I have four $3 off coupons I got in the mail recently. Let me know if you want them.

Skip it do not go! Its a good tiny family park. However, summer in west Michigan can be suprisingly hot! If it is over 80 degrees you will cook in that park. There is no where to hide from the sun. Also, if you must torture yourself....bring your own food. The selections for food are awful but reasonably priced. You would have more fun getting a 5 hour pass for Craig's Crusiers in Holland. www.craigscrusiers.com.
Dont skip this park, Shivering Timbers alone is worth the price of admission.
