I'm pysched! I'll be making my first trip to MIA soon. It is 4 to 5 hours for me from North-East Indiana, but I love the amusement park experience. A first time at every amusement park is great for me.
I - who was in love with Indiana Beach even before '94 when CCI came into the picture.

I bet the Point would be open on a day like this....oh well. I almost went after work too....I'm glad I decided to go ahead and come on home.
Koolaid...my bad. Your response was right after Matt Scott's post...all the same numbers were there so I thought you were talking to him. He did too...hehehe. :)
Will definately be nice there on Monday...temps in the mid 70's and sunny is forcasted. Tomorrow will be high around 70 with partly cloudy skies. The sun keeps popping in and out right now...very frustrating. See'ya Monday folks...will be there all day. Ride'm high!!!

I've just seen the future...what was I saying?
And this is from someone who lives in Cleveland. To me, MiA is worth the drive.

I went to MiA last summer and I would go again just for Timbers. It's tied at #1 with the Beast on my list.
That's a pretty strong statement. I've never been on ST (I'd love to try it though), but to me, nothing can beat a great terrain coaster like Beast. Bill, I live in Akron, too, and myself couldn't justify the trip to MIA, at least not now. If given a choice, I'd almost invest a few extra hours and hike on down to Holiday World, where there are a couple of other big "treats" you may be familiar with (I haven't been there, either!). If you ever want to carpool up to MIA, though, let me know!
