We left Lansing about 9:30 a.m. and arrived at the park around 11.
We stepped out of the car and it was HOT!
Walked in the park and headed straight to Mad Mouse.
Mad Mouse - Wait: 10 minutes - The same ride as usual, relaxing and some fun little hills. Rating - 7
On our way to Shivering Timbers we stopped at Sea Dragon, caught a couple of rides on that w/ 2-3 minute waits both times.
Shivering Timbers - Wait: 15 minutes - We sat in the 2nd car from the back and had a great ride. This ride has gotten better since the last time I've ridden it. Great 3 beginning hills, the 4th hill was slightly painful, but the rest of the ride was great. Rating - 9
Went over to the Log Flume to cool off, caught a ride on Bumper Cars and then went over for 2 rides on Zach's Zoomer.
Went out to the car to eat our Sub's for lunch at about 1:00 and grabbed our bathing suits.
We went back into the park and headed straight for the waterpark.
We rode virtually every water slide there was, and spent some time in the lazy river. I still do not like the rocket slides that give you a major wedgie(sp?) and the lifeguard that stands at the bottom of both slides to stare at EVERYBODY pick it when they get done.
The wave pools were lots of fun at slightly relaxing. My favorite water slides are the big enclosed family one as well as the open top one that empties into the lazy river, very convenient.
Left the waterpark at 5:30 and went back to the car to drop off our water gear and headed back into the park.
We went over to Mad Mouse again and caught 2 rides w/ about 5 minute waits.
Strolled on over to the Corkscrew and walked on the middle of the train, okay ride, slightly jerky. Rating - 5
Walked on over to the Wolverine Wildcat, waited about 8 minutes and hopped on towards the back, pretty good ride, again slightly jerky, but okay. Rating - 6.5
We hopped on Bumper Cars and the Log Flume again, nice fun rides.
Wandered on over to the Thunderbolt and the Swings, nice easy walk on rides. Although there was a man that started stalking us, kind of freaky, he jumped on another flat ride after the swings and we lost him after that so that was a good thing.
Now for the final ride of the night..........what else? Shivering Timbers!!!
We caught 3 rides in a row at about 10 minute waits or so apiece all in the back car!!!
All 3 rides were between a 9 and a 10, definitely a GREAT coaster!
Something I noticed while in the waterpark........they were digging way over past that lake or whatnot, does anybody have any idea what it is? Does it have anything to do with Michigan's Adventure? I'm assuming it does........I don't know, should there be any speculation? There were large piles of dirt and some cranes or whatnot digging at the time. I also saw some men with posters and whatnot walking past us waiting for the log flume towerds ST...........I wonder where they were going?
Overall a great day at the park.....just hope they get a thrilling ride or 2 over the next 2 years, would make it much more enjoyable!

Great TR! I think this park should get an Invertigo, people wouldn't know the difference from Face Off at PKI, and a hyper shouldn't happen becuase Shivering Timbers is very hyper esq if you ask me!
It would be if it was an Out-and-Back but if it was a hyper-twister thats a different story. (Plus Steel coasters and woodies both have a different vibe to them)
