On the website you can send a postcard of MF at night and the towers are 3 different colors. Does it really look like that at night?
Yes. Ride this at night. It is the best ride at night that I've been on.

"Welcome back Raptor riders. How was your flight?"
Well it has all the colors of the rainbow in it. Even the Pigment colors.
It has many more different color sequences too!! It's awesome!!!!

I stayed at Breakers Tower at Cedar Point on the ninth floor, our room had a great view of MF and the dazzling light show. Very cool.....That view ranks up there with a Las Vegas Hilton view of the strip I enjoyed a few years ago. I didn't get to ride MF at night though, because the park was closed at 8:00. That will change when my wife and I return to CP Columbus Day weekend - the park will be open until midnight Friday and Saturday. Can't wait to ride CP's toys at night!

First we Rock - Then we Roll!
If you ride Magnum at night, you can turn right around and get an unobstructed view of MF's multicolored lift in all it's glory. There are several color sequences it goes through.
I remember at Coastermania this year on the ERT, the lights went out on some rides while the train was going up the hill - is that part of the sequence or did they just do it to send people up in total darkness?

That coaster at night is probably the most beautiful thing I think I've ever seen in person.

Yes, it's worth the 2 hour wait to ride at night. You walk up to the queue and see the mass of people, and think, "Should I?" The answer is Yes, get in that line. On the first drop, you're just falling like a sky diver, and you can't see the ground. It seems to last forever before you come out of it.

YES. YES. YES. I like Millennium Force way better at night. It's worth the wait and a whole lot scaryer at night. Woud it be more freaky if they put a tunnel at the first drop? Can't wait to ride Millennium I will be going to Cedar Point next week!
When I was at CP I was goong to get in line for the Magnum right before they closed and when I was getting in line they closed the gate and wouldn't let us ride it :'( at least we got to ride it earlier:)
-------------
Cedar Point, doesn't get any better then that:)
Yes, Grant, the lights going out are part of the sequence. Right before it flashes to red white and blue.
Last night yellow train was stopped on top of the lift for over 20 minutes when the lights went off. Everyone started to freak out in line. Just imagine what the people thought of on the ride.
Yeah, somebody in the train yells, "Dammit! who forgot to pay the electricity bill?!" :)
The lighting is basically the same as on Power Tower. The same company, High End Systems, is responsbile for the lights and sequencing. If you look up their website, you still might be able to read an article about how they did the programming for MF.

yes mf is preety cool at night but yet its kinda nasty.when my friend and i rode it like 2 weeks ago at night we were in the second row with are hands up and when the ride was done the people in the front row said hey guys look at your arms. and they were full of bugs. its the price u pay but its worth it.
Yes, MF is amazing at night. The lights are so cool. My favorite light sequence is when they do that kinda strobe effect. The red/white/blue is cool too.
