Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

If you've been on the Aero 360 at Kennywood then you've been on Meteor at Dorney. The only difference between the two is the first direction you are flipping runs one more time around then the Aero. Thats the only difference. Good ride.

Personally, I still like KP's better only because I like the arrows more then the meteors on the sides of the ride.

Coasterman Mike - Enjoy your ride as we take you over the top on the Aero 360.

During CoasterMadness my daughter rode it 2x. THIS Mom just watched-NO way I was getting on that thing!
Funny thing is she rode it once then said she wouldn't do it again but went on it again. I felt sick WATCHING her ride it! WoodenCyclone, towards the last part of the ride it does pause you while you're upside down for a second or two.
In talking to one of Dorney's security guys he said they nick named Meteor "The Vomit Comet" and I can truly see why! :)

One of those rides that looks way more intense than it is. Like mentioned already there's a few of these around.

WoodenCyclone, it does stop you upside down.

More info for those of you not familiar with the ride (as there seems to be more than I expected):

Meteors not a bad ride. Your basic inverter ride. I rode it two or three weeks ago. Only did it once (front seat on the left side toward White Water Landing). I like looking at Hercules up side down.

I wouldnt *exactly* say that it stops you upside down. It kinda of *pauses* (as if due to inertia), but never really stops. Those carnie KAMIKAZE rides actually have a brake where they can stall the ride upside down for an extended period of time (I'm talking about half a minute or more).

But rides like that have never even gotten me close to feeling sick. And strangely enough, they are the only ones where I dont mind hanging and falling upside down (the reason I hate Volcano)

I've ridden it. But it took a while in line because everyone kept throwing up. THere is on that is similar at SFNE. It is yellow at SFNE.

I was just recently at Dorney, and took a few trips on it. I really enjoyed it. My favorite part is when they stop you upside down. Definately a good flat ride. It was my first time riding that type of ride. I know people on here know the manufacturers name, but all I know is that is a Zamperla. Similar to the one at Kennywood.

Yeah, I was on it at least 50 times this year. I have some pictures on my website posted is anyone wats to check them out.

When I was at Dorney about three saturdays ago, I rode Meteor twice. I rode it once in the early afternoon and later at eleven at night right before the park closed, both were slightly different rides. They were different due to the fact that during my first ride we were held upside down twice, my second ride, we weren't held upside down at all; who knows whats up with that.?I was really excited about riding it, I never rode anything like it before, it was a totally new experience. I had never even seen the ride before except seeing pictures online of Kennywood's Aero 360. I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was a really fun ride. You never really have to wait in a queue due to the rides large capacity and the ride itself lasts about 3 minutes. You get one cycle forward, then one backwards and they keep you upside at least once on one of the cycles. The only thing that killed me was the harnesses. The padding(I thought padding was suppose to be soft and cushiony) was as hard as wood. It was really painful when you had to lay supported upside down on the harness. You'd think that the padding would be soft since your life is literally relying on it as you lye pressed smack dab up against it while your upside down. Other than that, It's a blast. I'd definately say its now one of my favorite flat rides.
The one @ SFNE is a Vekoma Air Jumper by the name of Time Warp. I find it really fun and it never has a line!
