Metal Pad Owners: How to clean?

Hey you DDR ninjas! I just received my two brand new, shiny, super responsive metal DDR pads which I really want to keep looking good. I've been using my volleyball shoes that have never been outdoors, but from playing there's still some action marks. Just wondering what kind of cleaner you guys would recommend. I'd guess a towel and some glass cleaner would do the trick, but I just wanted to see if anyone had a tried and true method. Thanks!

Hmm, I've never cleaned mine. I play in socks so I don't need to. I'd test the glass cleaner first though, it might make the pads slippery...

I'm guessing water and a somewhat abrasive towel would clean up the scuff marks and dirt pretty well...

Kara: As you probably know, gum-rubber shoes tend to be very soft and leave marks on everything, which is generally why you need to buy new volleyball shoes each season. For that reason, I don't know, you might want to reconsider using those shoes if they make lots of marks.

Good call, why didn't I realize that? Give the man a cookie :)
