I just wanted to be the first to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Good Evening and Happy Holidays to ALMOST everyone....

As I sit here and write this I am "On The Air" in one of the most powerful radio stations in New York City. I am looking out of my upper window at the neon, florcescent and animated Times Square Billboards.

A few blocks away is the "Big Tree." A few blocks in the other direction is Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park, Central Park and Museum Row.

In about 7 hours, I will bring Christmas morning music to children all over the city. It is a responsibility I've had for 23 years and it's an honor to do so. In a sense, I am Santa.

May all of your rides in 2008 be safe, fun and everything you could possibly wish for. May the food that you order be worth it - in price and in the time it took to get it. May the kiddie ride you go on with your child spare you from bumping your knee as you enter or leave the car. May you happen to be in an area with a closed ride that just opens in front of you. May you get a great seat for that show you were dragged to see and may it be better than you expected. May the animal your kid wants to really see come over to your car if you're at a safari attraction. May those of you on coaster-induced diets be able to get on the ride you were denied last year. May the people who rudely smoked in front of you on line, be noticed by security and asked to leave...no questions asked. May you finally meet that person or people whose posts you've always liked, but you've just never happend to meet. When you do meet, may it be a nice experience for everyone involved.

All of this I wish for all of you.....EXCEPT that one weasel who won my free ticket contest, but never posted the agreed upon trip report.
