Ok this day was a stupid day to go to an amusement park. I say this because Everyone in Illinois were at Great America. But it wasn't that bad. We started the day off with a little run to Viper (Deja Vu was closed durr). There was a little wait as always. But I'll skip my routine and spill the good stuff. As many of you know The ride Power Dive has been broken starting from last year. Well this year they plowed the entrance and turned it into Power Alley. But when we were there the entire front and Back of the Ship were gone and same with the Counter Wieghts and Ride operator booths. I think that this space will be the area for the long overdue Ferris Wheel. Another interesting tidbit of information, Viperas we all know is sponsered by the beloved videogame RCT. Well no longer. The sign posted that this Ride is sponsered by is gone torn off in both places, this wasn't vandelism. Also while we were there my friend spotted a ride mechanic scaleing the loop of Deja Vu, he climbed down the otherside and jumped onto the platform below the 2nd lift. He was shortly followed by another mechanic doing the same. They were starting to check the Barrel of cable on the middle platform. So it looked a little strange. My other friend and I were riding vertical velocity and afterwords he got off and complained of neck pain afterwords. Well what happened is this, as he was sitting in his seat and the ride operator gave the clear for launch he put his head down like an idiot, and as the ride launched it snapped his neck back and strained a muscle in his neck. In my opinion the kid is a moron who dosen't follow instructions to keep your head against the headrest. So after that he complained the rest of the day and ruined the fun.
