I have two crystal balls. I asked both of them they they each proclaimed that "Dorney park will be extremely crowded on Memorial Day weekend. Please stay home."

Oh well, there ya have it...my balls never lie ;)

If you think it's smart to go to a park on the same day that most people are off work and out of school, go for it. You won't find me at a park this Memorial Day.

Jesse Mer:

I have consulted the Oracle and it has informed me there will be 24,323 people at Dorney Park this coming Memorial Day. The longest line of the day will be Talon, with approximately 3274 people in line at 10:45 am. The shortest line will be at Laser, with a mere 134 people at 9:32 pm.

Also, the Oracle mentioned a cook may spit in the chili at the hot dog stand around 12:15 pm, so I would either get my chili dog earlier, or not at all.

Jesse - use some common sense. If you think it won't be crowded on a day when most people are off work and out of school, then go!

Jesse doesn't sound like a very grateful person. See, I wasn't gonna ask FutureMan about it either--but he called me. "What? What? Some other goofball asking about Dorney Park?" Man, he's hot today.

"Could you also foresee I wasn't going to call you for some ungrateful dip with an attitude?"

"So? Who said I was gonna answer his question? I was calling to laugh at him cuz his little silly, boring, same-question-people-ask-eighteen-times-a-day thread will get closed and then he's gonna open another one named WHY DID YOU CLOSE MY THREAD followed by 4 question marks, 3 exclamation points and 2 more question marks. And to say that the 'Oracle' is a second-rate Madam Cleo knockoff. Trust the big eyeball man from now on, babee! Hey, don't hang....."

Click. I didn't need him to tell me any of that.

Of course Memorial Day is crowded at themeparks. It's the traditional kick off to the normal amusement park season for most parks i.e. parks will now be open during the week instead of just weekends. As Mamoosh said, most people have the day off, and many waterparks also open for the season. Seeing as Dorney has ten new waterslides opening up, you might luck out in the main park. That is, if they are ready, and if the waterpark does open up on Memorial Day.
