Meet Raven!
Some nice news for all you cat lovers!
I just adopted a wonderful little kitty named Raven. This is the first pet that I have named after a roller coaster. I have named most of my pets after rock stars or celebrities.
I pondered about 10 names but this seem to fit him the best (personality-wise) and sounded the best.
The little guy is settling in and my 9-year old cat Janis is slowly getting used to him. She's being fussy and grouchy but I think they will be friends once she realizes he is here to stay. She loves to watch him play and doesn't seem as jealous as she was yesterday. He's 8 weeks old, tan and white, and is very sweet (and of course has already gotten into everything he can possibly get into!!)
I have taken a few pics with my webcam (he loves it!) and will post some better quality ones soon.
This was taken at the shelter the day before Thanksgiving. I brought him home yesterday evening (he had to be snipped first of course).

There's a roller coaster named Raven? ;) Does this mean that your cat is out of control? Really though, very cute cat and I like the name!

Well, as a matter of fact he is out of control and can be a little rough!!! :-)
Well, I learned that he has tons of "airtime". About an hour ago he was on top of my computer (where he is getting this bad habit from Janis) and leaped about four feet out and landed (the top of my computer is about 4 feet from the ground also). It kind startled me at first but he started running once he hit the ground like it was nothing. He's a little thrillseeker!!
I just now introduced him to Janis' favorite toy..........the laser beam! Now he is really out of control since I put it away and he is still looking for it!

Someone at work asked me if I liked the "Raven" and I replied "Well, I prefer Legend over Raven but Raven still kicks ass in it's own way.......has some quality airtime."
He realized I had no idea that there was a wrestler named Raven as soon as I realized he had no idea where Holiday World was, or is. :-)
