Media Day - SFWoA - 4/30

Well, Media day was today, at 10am.

I arrived, meeting up with a friend we headed over to Tiger Island. VERY nice looking, they really did a great job with it. The tigers were very awesome, and are a great addition to the park! The areana looks very spiffy

Then we all headed to the new "mongolian buffet" after some Q&A at Tiger Island. The oriental food was amazing! The resturant was amazing with all the nicely painted pictures of wildlife. It had a very nice atmosphere. The food gets a 11 out of 10!

Then we went to Reptile Wild, a new reptile exibit with some cool snakes and lizerds. It is very small, but the snakes are HUGE! It was very nice.

Then for the next hour we just wondered around the WL side, seeing the dolphines in there new home "former batray cove". Construction of the new rides is going nicely, and many employees scrambling everywhere getting ready for opening day.

After Media Day ended, Mr Villain and I headed to the administartor office for a Media kit. While there we noticed the second train is ready to go on the Villain. ohh, the pain! This whole May 4th thing needs to go, how about April 30 for opening day!

Many workers on the tracks of XF tightning the bolts. There must of been around 12 men working. It was quite interesting!

SUE's train was recieving its seats. This will be testing soon, and XF's second train is ready to go.

Thats what happened today at SFWoA. Crews are working hard for that May 4th deadline

so no rides open I assume?We have Tiger Island Splash Attack at SFMW, and I saw it last time I was thier and now its on my must not miss list when I go to SFMW! It seems like our and your Tigers/trainers will be rotation from time to time.

Todd, yes they said something about getting used to new trainers every couple of months.

It was nice to be in the park again. Its been a long offseason, and I cant wait till May 4! Only 2 more days!!
