The detail and motion of the flats is amazing and I am slowly beginning to wonder if there was more effort in designing the flats than perfecting the coasters, which tend to look a bit clumsy.
I am not *****ing here, but there really appears to be a difference between in rendering quality.
Left click will launch video/right click will save it.
And now that it's confirmed that there's a log flume, I can sleep easy... but I'm still wondering if there's the shoot-the-chutes & river rapids ride available (no video footage has shown either yet).
The physics on the flat rides still look amazing, and I really can't wait to get my grubby hands on that game... even just to watch it. If it's as good as the all the video footage has been showing, I'm not going to be sleeping for awhile.
Anybody know what that flat ride is in the lower right hand corner below the afterburner is?
The whole game looks great! I personally think the coasters look just as good as the flat rides, but Im happy they are finally adding alot of new flat rides to the game. Ive been waiting to see rides like the Zipper and SFGAm's Condor in the game since RCT originally came out, and now that they are in the game they couldn't look better.

Certain victory.
RCT is also very popular with kids, most of whom have no interest in The Sims, and that's a huge demographic.
Also I wanted to point out something I noticed and that the video maker confirmed. All those rides in the video are in test mode. One of those rides is a peep based ride (the trampolines) and when it is in test mode, little ghost/points of light can be seen jumping up and down where the peeps would be. (Look behind the Top Spin) I thought that was kind of funny, and now I am wondering if all the peep based rides will work that way.
You either get The Sims or you don't. Stephanie played it, I never did. Seemed like a lot of doing nothing. But then again, I like RCT scenarios. :)

A big reason that I think RCT3 will out sell Sims2: prices vs. the casual gamer. RCT3 should be in the mid- (or maybe upper-) $20's range. That's an easy impulse buy while you're perusing the Target shelves. Sims2 is $50 even at discounters like Best Buy and WalMart. I doubt many non-fans will be dropping that much on something that they, like me, will potentially be bored with in a couple days.
Hi
Anyless and you you'd be stealing it for all the work it appears was put into it.

All I know is that there are way more teenagers-college aged kids who are well aware of, and just itching for the Halo 2 release than for RCT 3 or Sims 2. I think that it will actually shut down some campuses across the country with the kind of online mutli-player fun you will be able to have with it.:)
One thing I've noticed, in the limited amount of TV that I watch now is the number of Sims 2 commercials. They are going all out marketing the game, and I have yet to see any Halo 2 or RCT 3 commercials.
With this said, I think that the universal appear, and brand new look to RCT 3 will make it a definite contender for the most sales through the holiday season. I think it's awesome how so many of these great games are all being released within a few months of each other.
Everything I have seen thus far from RCT 3 has been better than what's came before it, and having seen all of those flat rides running flawlessly in 3D, I am simply stunned. I was in awe, because with the addition of the night mode, it looked real! I loved the saturation of colors too.
