Maximum RPM at Hard Rock Park

Ahhh..., I am now informed on the difference (a blimp is non-rigid). If I took after my Dad and watched The History Channel for hours on end, I'd definitely know my Zepplin's from my blimps. Thanks for the correction.

I'm still holding out for a Def Leppard themed Screamin' Swing.

It would have to be a "one arm" model... bwahaha.

Hey that's my joke, you big jerk! >:-O

haha.

Maybe now we can eventually have a Twisted Sisters coaster that makes sense. :)

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

Look at the hours... 10am - 1am most of the summer! I think they're being a little ambitious...

As long as there are no rides based on the Spice Girls or Vanilla Ice, I will be happy!

Ihope they have more luck with this ride than the poor belgian park that built a unique river rapids that also used a ferris wheel as a lift. The thing was so problematic that they just they gave up on the wheel and built a new rapid section around it!
They have finished the lift "wheel" and most of the track work. The track looks very Jumbo Jettish. Can't wait to see the coaster cars.

The Led Zep coaster seems to be getting all the attention, but this is the one at HRP that interests me the most for some reason.

Hard Rock Park will have a Vanilla Ice themed "Wack-a-Mole" game, except they'll only allow one hit....

(wait for it!)

:-)

^Awww... Moosh... that was cheap! Cheap as a Glasgow Whore!

Well, I just have to come to the defense of helpless 'artists'. I mean, we all gotta pay rent!

I know this ain't the music forum, but I get really hot when people diss my favorite artists. Kubrick, Geiger, Ramones, Iggy, Blondie, Devo (can you belive VH1 had enough yarbles to call Devo a one-hit wonder? I mean come on!!!!) And what, pre-tell, would they call Zep or Sabbath? Two of the best bands ever, NEVER had a 'hit'. geez. money.

I mean, it would be calling whoever built Viper at Great America (Martin?) a dope or something...

Now... Giavanola.. u can bug them. Goliath and Titan's layouts are lacking big time. Couldda done soooooo much with all that energy... but no :( *** Edited 12/20/2007 5:04:37 AM UTC by J7G3***

I seen some of the construction of the park when I was down there for my senior trip. I must say I am incredibly stoked about this park.

Think they are playing it safe by only building one 'big' coaster? and how well do you think will they do considering MB is a tourist town? *** Edited 12/20/2007 5:53:16 AM UTC by SpeedDemon***

Whats life if you never get to the Point?

You could always have a Milli Vanilli themed motion simulator... sure it may seem real, but everyone knows it's fake.

I had to add my part. :)

I'm right there with you. I think it might have something to do with the completely unique lift system. It's certainly going to have a different sense of anticipation than the traditional chain lift.

AcVis:

The Van Halen Coaster you speak of. Would it possibly be a Dive Machine? And be called...

"Diver Down"?

On that note. How about a KISS Coaster called "Strutter"?

Don't know what kind that should be though.

Considering that the bulk of people go there to play on the golf courses--both the real ones and the outlandish mini-golf courses--I'm not sure. It definitely fills a hole that the Pavilion used to fill though so I think it'll do all right.

No, not at all. If anything I'm actually surprised they're opening with a ride assortment this robust right at the start.
