They are going very safe with the rides

That "innovative" ferris-wheel type lift looks problematic to me...certainly not playing it safe IMHO.

They still have ~1/2 [of Zeppelin] to build.

I'd say it's closer to about 1/4 remaining...that MCBR comes pretty late in the ride.

I'm liking the trackwork after the cobra roll....look like something a little different from standard B&M fare...

Rob: I'm not irritable, I'm irritating. Easy mistake... ;)

Can't you be both?

I think the non-inversion stuff on B&M loopers is my favorite. Last week I was reminded of how cool Dominator is after the MCBR. Medusa, Hulk and Kumba also have some interesting stuff to offer once the inversions are covered.

How is this "Ferris wheel lift" supposed to work? In the drawings on RCDB, I can't see where it connects to the track anywhere.

So much for the early word that RPM was an Italian Job-style launcher...

Great video. I was just about to post the link. I wonder what the next coaster to be completed will be?

^Ordinarily I'd bet on the *family* coaster, but it looks like the pieces for Maximum RPM are on-site and ready to go.

Left wondering about the suspended....for a while it was listed as breing *the* ride from Emerald Pointe, but now I see it credited to Premier without mention of being the relocated HydraFighter. Is Duane just messing with my head? ;)

In the extreme lower left corner of this photo:

you can see the track pieces of the Vekoma Mine Train (Midnight Rider). This coaster will have a twin (side-by-side) lift hill.

I just found this photo today showing track construction has started:

^adding a late news blip about an accident where a crane toppled onto the Midnight Rider coaster currently under construction.

I noticed they shut down the time lapse webcam during the accident. Normally you can scroll back and view the frames up to 2 or 3 previous days. There is a gray area during the time of the accident.

webcam is below the time lapse clip:
