MAx number of guests?

Is there a maximum number of guests you can have. I have a pretty good park going right now. almost $300,000, constant rating of 999, 60+ rides. but I can't seem to increase my guests to over 2000. sometimes it goes up to 2002 but never more.

is this a limit to the game?

I've had over 4000 in one of my parks at one time, so it appears that there isn't a limit to the number of peeps you can get in your park. The only problem is that most of the time the peeps are constantly saying "It's to crowded here!" no matter how many paths I have.

I don't think there is an official actual limit. However I believe what happens is the game calculates how many paths you have and how many rides, then just calculates an "average" to keep it at, and just slows down producing guests when it nears that. I think that the "average" though, hardly ever goes above 2 to 3,000.

Magnum-Just Ride It!!!

I could only get 4200, even with a trainer to generate peeps. It made me think there was a limit. I'll go build more paths and see if it'll let anyone else in...

I was doing Arid scenario and got up to 1992 and figured I'd reach that all important 2000 you need to complete it, but it never happened. For the past year (I'm in year 9), I've added 3 new coasters, 5 new rides, another food court and a ton of new pathways to spread things out, but I saw the numbers drop continuously. After a while I decided to watch the entrance area and never saw ANYONE coming up the path to eneter the park. I'm now down to 1800 and it doesn't look like I'll get back to the 2000 mark.

Yeah, believe me I would if I had the option, but since you don't have to pay for anything in Arid, they conveniently left out the marketing tab. I did the first scenario last night and with a little marketing finesse, added about 1200 guests in 4 months time.

There is a limit it's 4,555 once that many people are in your park you cannot go over can't even hire an extra employee or would say TOO MANY PEOPLE IN GAME

had the same problem with arid heights.
was able to force people in with techno lite trainer. Don't like to use those things, but the only thing I don't like about rct's scenarios is that you can, if your lucky, complete one in at least serveral hours.
the LL scenarios seem a lot longer to me.
In arid, unless you're lucky and can get them in in the first year or so, you may go past year 10 (like me) and have no sucess. Same thing with razor rocks where you need to build 10 coasters with the excitement over 10. If I had not used a trainer it would've been another year 10 scn. till i got the $ I needed

I have the trainer too, but was trying to complete it without using it too. I was creating mostly custom coasters while doing Arid and started to wonder if I could have gotten more people in quicker if I just used mostly prebuilts and didn't spend the extra time. Also, it could be that my park layout was a little too tight. When I try again I plan to stretch things out a little.

BTW, when you have completed scenarios like this (where you have to maintain a certain park rating), do you have to keep it at that rating? I ask because after I'm done setting it up the way you're supposed to, I want to scrap it all and start from scratch. Unfortunately, I don't think the park rating would stay at 800 for very long once I shut everything.

The more employees you have, the less guests you will have.

My guest counter is really messed up. It says 4,575. But the one in the guest window says 575
