Jeff briefly touched on this a few weeks ago in another thread, but if you aren't following Matt Ouimet on LinkedIn, you need to do so.
For a while now, he has been blog posting some incredible knowledge, wisdom and insight on his perspectives on management, leadership and theme park operations, free of charge, on his LinkedIn page.
Not exactly where he is going with all of his posts; perhaps he is just sharing out of the goodness of his heart and love for the industry. But if you go through his posts, there is some incredible industry insight that he shares.
Enjoy!
It's really good, sure it would make a great book - there seems to be a big market for books with anyone connected to Disney, maybe he just doesn't want to.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
I think he has said a couple of times that he wasn't really looking to do a book...but I agree that the ingredients are all there with his library of posts. I will also say that he does a pretty good job of not avoiding the hard/controversial topics. Now, he doesn't betray people or former employers, but he is more candid than you might expect a retired executive to be.
