Master Blaster water coasters

Outside of Schlitterbahn in Texas, there is one at the Golfland-Sunsplash in California. Anyone know if and where there are others? Are they worth a trip?

I think that they are great, I have ridden the one at Golfland-Sunsplash here in Rooseville, it is really a lot of fun! Being shot back up the hill!

Umm, I'm not sure what the name is, but theres one in Northern IL, up near rockford. I think it's at Magic Springs or something...

NRH20, a small city-owned water park in North Richland Hills, TX, has one called the Green Extreme. I haven't been back to the park since it opened. Its a really nice park, but it is small and is usually very crowded. NRH20 is about 20 minutes from SFOT and Hurricane Harbor.

I know this sounds stupid but what exactly is a master blaster water coaster?

Delgroso Park in PA has stated that in phase 2 of thier waterpark they will get one. Nobody really knows when that will be though.

Basically, a Master Blaster is a water slide with high speed water jets that push the rafts up hills.

There is one at Golfland in Mesa, Arizona
Its the same waterpark in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure that Napoleon was going down all the slides......Waterloops

The Beach across from PKI has a slide that goes uphill, though I don't know if it's the same manufacturer.

ebskoot: the park in "Bill and Ted" is called Waterloo in the movie. Get it? That's how they figure out that Napoleon would go there!

There have been 12-15 Master Blaster water coaster/transoportation systems built in the USA. Naming, well, that's your job :) .

They are also building one at an indoor waterpark in Anchorage, Alaska. I will try and get a link ASAP.

I live about 5 minutes away from Golfland Sunsplash in Roseville and I love the Master Blaster. You really lose your stomach on that first drop even though its not that big. One of the best slides there!

I thought the same thing about the MasterBlaster at Sunsplash. You really do lose your stomach on the drop. It was pretty fun, but I haven't been on it in more than a year.

You are right, The Beach water park does have a water slide that goes up-hill. It also features the "de-watering" system like on Master Blaster models. It does NOT have jets though.

Dmb- crush, I don't live in Roseville. I live in Rocklin, which is the city bordering Roseville. I live right over by the college.

I think when I said "I live about 5 minutes away from Golfand Sunsplash IN ROSEVILLE, you thought I meant I live in Roseville, but the "in roseville" thingy, I meant that that's where the park is. :)
