That being said, it is not a roller coaster, roller coasters need to roll, ie have wheels, for them to be what they are, MB doesnt have this. Also, unlike some of my favorite coasters I would never wait 2 hours to ride the thing (especially at Shiltterbahn with there 30 min plus tube rides).

I dont think he was trying to say they ARE like a true Roller Coaster, he was more like saying, it FEELS LIKE RIDING A Roller Coaster and I would half agree on that comment on the upwards sections at least as they do feel like a launch on a coaster
I have FINALLY ridden my first Master Blaster WaterFlume at a place in Staffordshire in England this year at a place called WaterWorld, and I absolutly loved it, the one I rode was very short(It complety indoors and was probably over in 15-20 seconds) but it still delivers a nice thrill, there are 2 upwards sections and these are the bits that I think are fantasic, the way it works is brilliant, and they are great fun. Also a good way to get an extra thrill on a Master Blaster is to ride one BACKWARDS, I rode the one at WaterWorld Backwards and it just adds a slighty extra thrill to the ride(Anyone else done this) For example I found you dont know when the upwards sections are coming so it catches you out big time, and its kinda amusing when you go up on the upwards bits to look back down the track instead of looking upwards, Great Fun
I will be riding a Second MasterBlaster soon at the waterpark inside the new Hotel at Alton Towers so I cant wait to try out another one, Should be good and I cant wait
