Massive eagle sculpture will stand near Dollywood's new Wild Eagle roller coaster

It took more than two tons of steel to make the massive eagle that will be shipped south of the border later this month to adorn a new rollercoaster at Dollywood. Metal sculptor Kevin Stone of Metal Animation Studio Inc. in Chilliwack, B.C., was commissioned by Dollywood to build the giant $250,000 bald eagle, which stands about two stories high and has a wing span of 14.6 metres.

This sculpture is massive. I saw some pictures of it last week (not sure when the pics were actually taken though) and I love how much it has rusted already. With the stainless steel head and claws, this eagle sculpture it going to be beautiful.

That is pretty cool. SFGAm should have a replica Stealth plane put at the entrance of X-Flight.
