Massachusetts ride inspection record inconsistent

Massachusetts inspections of amusement rides vary greatly, with some operators being visited numerous time by state inspectors and others ignored, according to a published report Tuesday. State officials could not explain the discrepancy in inspections.

Wish they elaborated more on the fact that it was not a mechanical error on Superman but rather human error.

If there were a logic behind it, inspecting some ride operators, more often could make sense. IE inspect the ones with poor safety records more often. However, that doesn't seem to be the case here.
