Mascots

I was just wondering what types of mascots different parks have, like unique or different ones. Kennywood has Kenny Kangaroo and Idlewild has Ricky Raccoon. What are some other different types?

Well, they got Looney Toons Characters at Six Flags.

Oh! They got Disney characters at Disney :)

There are only 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who dont.
you didn't here ( sarcasticly) CP got a miny replica of a dragster car mascot, PKI has a beast mascot, and six Flags has a Flag for a mascot, go figure LOL just kidding
Knoebel's has Kozmo, which I think is a squirrel. Indiana Beach has I.B. Crow. And I'm not sure he's the official "mascot", but Holiday World has this plump, jolly fellow in a red suit...now what was his name...? ;)

I thought Kozmo was a teddy bear, but I could be wrong.

I love IB's crow.

Just looked at Knobel's sight. Kozmo seems to have too much tail for a bear, but not enought for a squirrel. Anyone know what he's supposed to be?

Kozmo is a chipmunk, isn't he?

Yea he's a Chipmunk.
Six flags has the "Chewing gum stuck on everything"

Sesame Place has...well...the Sesame Street characters. As if you couldn't figure that out for yourselves :)

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

HW's *mascot* is Holidog, right?

IB Crow needs a name...IngleBert!?!

Dutch Wonderland has Duke....

VisionLand of course, has The Optometrist (more of a superhero than a mascot, LOL)...;)

I know there's others, but can't think of any others.....wait, doesn't Mickey count? ROFL!

Adventureland in Des Moines, IA has Bernie which is a dog. They also had a lion when the park first opened. A couple of years ago they had Garfield and Odie but, only for one season.
Cedar Fair has the peanuts gang

Universal as DC Comics

Thanks,

Let's not forget about Kenny the kangaroo...Kennywood's mascot.

Wood Coaster Fan Club - coming to a park near you

Poor Kenny the Kangaroo seems to be taking a back seat these days to Garfield. Kennywood used to use Kenny, Jeeters and Colonel Bimbo all over the park. There were the costumed characters walking the park; as well as the height measurment signs on rides. Now everything seems to be Garfield. *** Edited 4/25/2004 9:39:50 AM UTC by richmmo***

Every park needs a Colonial Bimbo.

Statistics show male attendance rises at twice the industry average when a park adds a colonial bimbo to their lineup.

Kennywood had a Colonial Bimbo too? Isn't Kennywood the park that also had a .. ah ... well ok, I don't feel like typing it over the work servers, but let's just say a female play-thing ... as the name of one of it's mascots? I believe between those two names, you can see why Kennywood's mascots have gone bye-bye.

I believe you could easily find another Colonial Bimbo at BGW (now the ultimate male park) ;)

Kozmo is indeed a chipmunk...Cant forget about his sidekick, King Knoebel either, who is a Lion.

Actually, Universal has Marvel Comics, Six Flags has the DC characters.

To add to the list, Silverwood has Garfield. That cat gets around. That's not a unique-to-the-park mascot as the original question asked, though; nor are Looney Tunes, comics characters, and the like. *** Edited 4/23/2004 4:28:41 PM UTC by GregLeg***

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."

Don't forget about my favorite ass, Cornball Jones, also at Indiana Beach! "That mule has lips!"
