Martin's Fantasy Islands picture of the Silver Com

I noticed that the picture they have posted on there web site isn't a picture of the Silver Comet. It is a picture of The Great White. It's the small picture they have on the home page.

Wanna guess how many of the park's guests would care if you were to point it out to them?

I guess 6 and four-fifths. Was I right?

My *guess* Den is that your fourth answer was the correct one....3i....3 *imaginary* guests...that being said, would it really kill the park to take a shot of their OWN coaster for their own website...

I'm not John, but I'll wager that Den wins a cookie...;)

Gosh, a picture of a ride that's not theirs! I guess their attendance must be dropping as we speak. The GP won't tolerate marketing fraude like that!

Ohw, wait. Marketing fraude is standard Six Flags policy as well..

After going on the ride 22 times in one day that picture IS of the Silver Comet. Great CCI! (even though its the only one I've been on ;) )

Haven't responded to a post in a long while... so why not...

I have never been to Martins Fantasy Island personally, however, I have been to Morey's Piers.

The pic on Martins web site is NOT Great White. Great White is on a pier along the Atlantic. No trees in the back ground, no grass under it. Looking deeper into Martin's site, there is an arial shot of the Silver Comet. The coaster in the pic on the main page of their site is the same as that in the arial shot.

Sorry to burst any conspiracy theorists bubbles.

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

Actually, he's referring to this pic, found on their "welcome" page. That is not Silver Comet, it is indeed Great White.

But again, it *doesn't* matter!

Okay... I'll grant you that one. I was simply looking at the page that pops up when you enter their site.

But, a you said... it doesn't really matter. (It's just a slow day here and I needed something to nit pick about)

I was counting his previous post as first...6 and 4/5....but he knew that wasn't right anyway, LOL....is 4/5ths of a park guest like a Twizzler, or is that a Reese's Cup...

bill, enjoys HP's method of measuring guests....how do YOU "measure up"...:)

Thank you Mamoosh for clearing that up I appreciate it. jwhoogs
