Martin's Fantasy Island and Darien Lake

Hi. I am planning to visit these two parks next weekend. I have been to SFDL but, not Martin's. I was wondering what motels were near and which park would be better to get a motel by. I was wondering if I should go to SFDL first and Martin's second or visa-versa. Thanks.
Make sure you check their schedules, since I think MFI closes earlier in the day. You may want to do it first, since you can get everything done fairly quickly. Heading over to Darien that afternoon would let you get some laps in and get lodging. I did not stay near either, so I can't help ya on that, but you are in for some great coasters. Silver Comet is a great little CCI (providing they aren't having the lapbar problems they were last year).

The only joints remotely near SFDL is their Lodge-on-the-Lake hotel, their campgrounds, or the Darien Lake campgrounds (which is actually about a half mile or so south of Six Flags Darien Lake and has nothign to do with the park)....

As for Martin's Fantasy Island, the only and best known place to stay around there is Holiday Inn by the river. It's fairly large, and it's about a couple miles away from the park. They also have a campground on-site (KOA, I think), and possibly cheezy motels, but that's about it!

....Summer is only a short 91 days long. How much of that time are you going to use at the amusement parks??
