Mark Shapiro Interview

Monday, June 19, 2006 6:56 PM
This is now the 3rd time I've posted this, but for some reason - the post keeps on getting deleted, and I'm not sure why.

Nonetheless, Mark Shapiro visited The Great Escape last week, and while he was here - he sat down with our local newspaper, The Post-Star. In the interview, he speaks about expanding parks, his views on the future of SF parks, food price gouging, amongst many more topics.

It was in the print version of 6/18/06 paper. The article itself was never on their website - so it got posted on The Great Escape's Fan Site so everyone can read it.

Click on the link in my sig, and it's the top story on the main page.

I think the fact that this has been deleted twice is the board ops telling you not to post it ;).

My guess is that its because it can be viewed as "self promotion" for your website (but Im not a board op so my opinion means nothing.)

Actually, in the board rules - it states not to post a link to a website, and I'm not. However, it says that it's ok to have one in my sig. I'm not promoting my site in anyway, nor do I make money off of the site. So I'm following all the rules.

This is ridiculous, how else can everyone see this interview if I can't state where it is? That's obsurd.

Did you try contributing it to news?

A day at the park is what you make it!

Jeff's avatar No, you DID link to your site. Don't play innocent. The rules are what they are. I'm not making special exceptions for people. See the pinned post on the matter.
