Marineland, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Associated parks:
None

I never knew there was a park in the Falls. The Great One (pronuancated spelling of Da Grate Wun) and his better half rode the only appealing ride there was. It was a woody named...I forgot but I do have pictures. It was built around a somewhat sorry excuse for a mountain, but the ride did the trick for us. It was cool (not kweel, but cool).

Um... you rode a woodie at Marineland??? There's only Dragon Mountain, and that's steel!
Dragon Mountain is an Arrow-Huss multiple element coaster built in the early 80's. The "mountain" is actually earth that was deposited there over the years from other projects at Marineland. There originally some pretty grandiose special effects planned for it, like a scaled down Niagara Falls and a volcano as I recall. Obviously these things did not come to pass. Why? Too expensive more than likely. Too bad. Would have improved the experience.
Niagara Falls was expensive all around. You even had to pay to use the washrooms at some resturants, it was tourist trap to say the least. But Marineland was a nice surprise of a park. The open farms were satisfying. It was an animal lovers retreat.
