In the year of 2050 they will have coasters over 1000 ft. I bet you my life... (and i will be 89 then and will be the first to ride it.)

Nifty! I'm starting to get a little more excited about the ride as we get closer. Truth be told, even after seeing it up close, I wasn't all that "in" to it, but I think seeing it in action will change my mind.

Those trains are awesome. The colors are really cool. Originally I wasn't a fan of the whole mish-mosh of colors what with the yellow tower and red/white track and now 6 train colors, but its growing on me! And speaking of colors, Mantis is really starting to stand out in the one web cam shot!

I can't wait, I am driving across country to ride this thing. It looks amazing!!!
I too am getting excited. I thought the colors for the trains wouldn't work, but they look awesome! I'm still a little dissapointed with the length. But this is going to be one hell of a ride! Blasts this warm weather!! Makes me want May to get here quicker!

The whole area is comming together nicely.

News of this coaster is really spreading around the US quickly... Today at school I was talking to one of my friends about S:RoS, when all of a sudden some kid I don't even know came up to me and asked if I had heard about "Cedar Point's new 415ft coaster?" I was so amazed that this guy knew about it and that he even knew the approximate height. I live in NH so it's not like we would normally hear anout a coaster so far away.

Just thought I'd share my story with you.

Can some one please explain the loading and unloading process. Are there two stations, one to laod and another to unload.

Two trains will load and two will unload all at the same time. The other two will be somewhere on the circuit, launch, or pre-launch track.

Acctually, I believe there will be a separate place for loading, launching, and unload. I read this on cedarpoint.com.

Looks good. Adding to what Jeff had to say, it is awesome when you are walking towards Xcelerator's station and see a train being launched right next to you.

Xcelerator is a great spectator ride, and I think that Dragster will be no exception to that!

Thanks peabody and swimmer. I assumed that they would just have one place to load and unload. I thought they would somehow load and unload very fast, so they could get as much people as fast as they. I know they does not make much sense but I assumed that because most unload platforms are a straight piece of track. Is there gonna be a roof for the unload platform or is it just gonna be a platform.

PS: I always love it when they show that nice long piece of track(station to bottom of hill) and then it goes straight up and starts going crazy. Then I say to myself "How is that humanly possible, 120 miles per hour up 420 feet with a 270 degree twist going down. It is # amazing."

Pictures really arent doing it justice.

Its the visuals I am getting imagining a vertical climb of 400 +ft that have me excited. Its amazing that they will be able to catapult a train straight up that high.

One word: "Unbelievable"

My 8 year old daughter is willing to ride anything but this might take a little coaxing. :)

Rob8421...

You mean the site that we already knew about...the same one that has all the great coaster animations?

The same one that had a news posting just two weeks ago regarding the new animation? ;) ;) ;) ;)
