Mantis promo video surfaces from 1995

Not half as good as Raptor's Promo. I was severely disappointed. (Not your fault, of course, Jeff.) I kept waiting for the real "wow" moment, but got nothing.

Raptor's is an epic! Love it.

How I feel about the videos is, oddly, pretty much how I feel about the corresponding rides.

It's interesting to see these old CP promo videos re-surfacing. They're neat. It'd be kind of cool to see a compilation VHS or DVD video of all of the CP ride promos. Just a thought...

I didn't download the video because I think I have it at my house. It has a mad scientist in it, right? This is the earliest computer animated coaster I've seen in which the animation looks realistic. *** This post was edited by MooreOn on 12/27/2000. ***

I liked the Raptor video and this one was cool too. Mantis is my third favorite ride at the Point behind MF and Magnum.

That's a pretty good video, but I still think the Millennium Force video is the best. It still gives me goosebumps every time I watch it.
