Mantis Colors

Sorry, I am new here and I did a little searching, but found no answers to this question. When I go to the virtual midway site, it shows the Mantis with a gold track. I was wondering if that was the original color scheme and when did it change? Thanks in advance. It also appears that the shoulder harness looks gold as well.

Yes sir, the track spine is gold and the (ties?) are red. I think they repainted it recently....but they kept the same scheme.

The only thing that has changed since it opened is that the rails are now painted instead of their natural steel.

Cool, thanks for the info. I had thought that the track was more like yellow than gold. Maybe it's hard to tell from that pic. Also, in the pic the ties were gold as well, or at least it looks that way. I should have been more specific.

Primary colors. Red, Yellow, Blue.. repainted this past season the same..

No, the pic on the front page of VirtualMidway makes everything but the train gold. Look at the grass and water around it, it's all gold.

The real colors, like others have said, are yellow underspine (did I just make up a word?), red topspine with red rails, and blueish/purpleish supports.

The harnesses are also yellow.
