I'm pretty sure (IIRC) that these weren't actually going to hurt anyone, but were part of a prank. Not that I don't agree with your sentiment, because I do, but I wouldn't call this a terrorist attack.

And that's what made the original story so ridiculous. They originally changed him with a felony that could have put him up for six years. That's pretty ridiculous for something that was essentially a stupid kid doing a stupid kid thing. It was a prank.

A human can't even touch dry ice without being severely burned. To make a bomb out of it, and on top of that, only a month after the Boston attacks, is a terrorist attack in my book. It instilled terror in parents with children at Disneyland of all places.

That is not true. As a teenager, a small piece fell out of a fancy dish setup made to make fog and fell into my ice cream. I had this small piece in my mouth for quite a few minutes, it was fun 'cause it looked like I was breathing fire!

My mouth did get cold, and I took the small piece out of my mouth using my fingers and placed it in the second dish where it should have been all along.

If touched briefly it is harmless, but prolonged contact with the skin...

Like almost anything labeled as bad, moderation is key.

Well, if you are Muslim, and scream "Allahu Akbar" while murdering and injuring a bunch of people, the worst you would EVER be charged with is "Workplace Violence".
