Well here is a story about a lawsuit going on fighting to allow concealed weapons in Illinois. It seems Illinois and Wisconsin are the only 2 states that ban concealed weapons.

This explains the felony charge.

A Washington-based gun rights group. It still surprises me that in such a liberal state there are so many gun rights folks here. This does explain the charge though. Good find.

For protection, and the Constitution, obviously.

Have you seen a photo of the guy, Jeff? Your answer is too simplistic (and political). He looks like a total thug. When I'm at an amusement park with my wife and four kids, I don't want this guy around. Why else did he run from security? He was up to no good and he knew he was in trouble. The Constitution doesn't protect him in Illinois, and it wasn't his gun to carry.

^Judgmental by what someone looks like? Of course we are human and judge, but come one. We know nothing about this guy.

Some of the best dressed, suit wearing, liberal people do horrendous things and hurt others.

Agreed. I used to wear black eyeliner, spikey bracelets, combat boots, and all black, with my hair dyed blue, but a sometimes while I had that appearance, I helped to raise thousands of dollars for Make-A-Wish, or collect canned goods for people in need.

I wonder what they will do since my keyring had a skullcrush spike on one end and two eye spikes on the side.

If the guy hadn't jumped out of line and went through the metal detector then nothing would have happened. The fact is the guy should have left the gun in the truck to begin with.

The Constitution doesn't protect him in Illinois...

I think I saw that sign the last time I drove into Illinois:

"Welcome to Illinois. The Constitution doesn't protect you here!"

Yeah, I didn't care for that Pelosi led congress either.

And we can tell all that just by looking at him. <rolls eyes>
