Mike, I'm not sure if they are still there, but they have been there.

Yes, I went down to that area of Dorney Park when I was there a few weeks ago, and that section of the park has been blocked off. The farthest you can go is to the Trout Pond Circle near Demon Drop's entrance.
I went back that way to see if the Swan Boats were still there, but they were not. Not sure when they were removed. You can still see the go-kart track, but I don't know if the cars are still there. The only time I've ever been on that track was when they use it for a haunt in October. Hopefully they will put some cool ride back there. That section of the park doesn't get a lot of love.

The go karts were called Thunder Creek Speedway. They were way in the back corner under Steel Force's Helix/Turnaround near the Trout Pond Fountain.
With both the Swan Boats (removed in 2011, I believe) and Speedway gone, the back corner of the park near that fountain is just a blocked off dead corner.

It was an exaggeration
I figured. It's really only 6 out of the top 10, right? ;-)

ANY empty space is a great fit for a Zamperla Air Race. I enjoyed the hell outta that ride at Luna last summer!

I rode the smaller, portable version (2 seater) at the Florida State Fair in February. They called it Air Raid. I think it's an ingenious ride, probably one of the most original Zamperla has come up with. I'd really like to try the larger park version someday. In fact, I think it would be the perfect fit at Kings Island on the old Flight Commander pad. (currently home to a crappy dinosaur party tent) Those planes looping around on that hill would be a great sight to see at that end of the midway, and fun to ride.
If my wish comes true it sure won't be for '14, will it?
