Bloody Nile? Explain....
-'Playa
-----------------
The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.
They dye the Nile red for HallowWeekends.
I must admit that I started the red dying at WOF, but only after I stole the idea from Six Flags Great America after visiting their halloween events the year prior. Unfortunately the only red dye we could get our hands on at the time was tracing dye that was more pink than red. We also had an issue making the water dark enough to look like blood vs turning people's white shirts pink...the shirts won.
I believe a couple years ago they were able to get a better color. I left the park after 98.
As far as the paint...some coasters do have the mess below the crown, but Mamba's was barely noticable prior to this incident. Even though I thought the Boomernag color was gaudy at first...I can actually deal with it now. It helps add a huge splash of color to a section of park that was lacking.

Waiting for the CP announcement to be made so that about 1000+ posts will be made complaining about it.
Even if you forget about the actually color sceme of the Boomerange then you still have to admit that the paint job sucks.
My problem isn't with the track it's with the train and the station although the track aparently is need of a good touching up.

Changing a bearing sounds routine to me, its an item without a definent ware out time, its not like an oil change in that you dont set a specifice replacement date.
Non routine maintainance would be maintainance as the result as a catostrophic failure of a part not due to normal ware.
