I'm a little worried, considering I am a female, and apparently the only female slightly bothered by this comment. Anyone who has been around here for any length of time, or knows me personally knows that I worship and respect women as the gender that really gets things done on this planet. "Hoochie" is hardly a negative adjective, I consider it a compliment. I don't know how it has anything to do with being Puerto Rican either. I love my wife, my kids (high school volleyball athletes, that is) and in general the stunning beauty and grace of the gender. Hell, I say change the phrase to, "With women, all things are possible."

Why is it that some women (except for Madonna) seem to think that women can't be wonderful, beautiful, etc. and at the same time be powerful and respected?

I find it intersting how many responses there are to this quesiton. Also how many women have responded who are not frequent posters. About half of the women who have responded have less than 10 posts. For a couple it was their first post.

Ummm....I'm not sure. Last night I had a dream that I was a mutant on X-men and they weren't sure which I was. Other than that i think I'm a guy.
