There's now an update on Yahoo Finance where Disney denies having any conversations with Malaysia about a new park. Apparently, the government's talks were with Oriental Land Co. about developing the site, but not specifically as a Disney park. In the updated release, both Disney and Oriental Land Co. emphasize that OL Co. is just a licensee of the Disney brand in Japan, and do not have auhority to discuss expanding Disney parks beyond their current interest in Japan.
